The Municipal Office Monday -Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and closed for Lunch from 12:30 to 1:00. Closed Fridays.

The Solid Waste & Recycling  Facility located off Route 236 on McKensie Lane (a quarter mile on the right towards Eliot after the 95 interchange) is open for Kittery  residential refuse and recyclables from 9AM to 5PM Tuesday through Saturday.  The facility is closed on holidays and snow days as the employees have snowplow routes.  Residential Solid Waste Stickers must be displayed on vehicles bringing materials to the facility. Stickers are available at Town Hall.  

The Material Recovery Facility which is apart of the overall Solid Wasted Facility is open Wednesdays and Saturdays only from 9AM to 5PM. (See listing and fees associated with the use of this facility).



The Maine-New Hampshire Connections Study web sitewww.maineNHconnections.org -  is fully operational, and viewers can now post comments and questions for an online response. A meeting report that summarizes the content and questions asked at the two public informational meetings on April 27 is also available on the site.

As data is gathered, it will be available to the public via this website, as will meeting dates and locations. People who are interested in seeing additional data or information should make requests via www.maineNHconnections.org.
