The Town has initiated a new process to receive tax payments mailed back to the Town. When payments are mailed back in envelopes provided in the tax bill and sewer bills, it will go to a Vermont Post Office address which is Ocean Bank's lockbox facility's address. Payments will be processed and entered into the Town's Bank account more efficiently through their automated procedures than having the town do it manually.

Q. Why is my payment being sent to Vermont?
A. Our new mailing address is a Post Office Box in Vermont. Your payment gets processed electronically by our bank’s lockbox service and then deposited the same day it is received. This is just another effort to create efficiency here at Town Hall. So, please send your next sewer or tax payment to Vermont.

All you need is your most recent tax or sewer bill, your credit card, debit card or check book, and follow the instructions after clicking on the link found under the Online Services on the Front Page.
**Please note that the Official Payments gateway will charge a convenience fee for credit card, debit card, or e-check payments. The fee will be calculated and shown to you before you approve the charge to your card or checking account.
Note: If you are paying after the due date, please call the tax office to receive an updated amount due as interest accrues daily after the December 10th and June 10th due dates.
